Cooperative apartment

A cooperative flat is a spatially separated part of a house used for living purposes, but which does not belong to its inhabitant, but to the housing cooperative, which leaves it to the cooperative for use. The management of such an apartment building is carried out by the cooperative. The disposal of cooperative flats (leases, transfers) is subject to a specific regime which is different from the disposal of privately owned flats.
