The type of work defines in the employment contract the range of work tasks that the employee is obliged to perform under the employer’s instructions. The type of work may be defined not only as a specific job function or classification (e.g. secretary, driver, computer network administrator, accountant), but also as a set of activities. The legislation allows the type of work agreed to be defined narrowly or, conversely, more broadly, and also allows the type of work to be agreed in such a way that more than one type of work is specified in the employment contract.
