Severance pay is a monetary benefit provided by the employer if the employment relationship is terminated for reasons specified by law (in particular, termination due to reorganisation of the employer or health reasons on the part of the employee). It shall be paid on the next pay date following the termination of the employment relationship, unless the employee and the employer agree on a different date.
