Immediate termination of employment is an extraordinary method of termination of employment. The Labour Code permits termination of the employment relationship in this way only in exceptional situations where it is not possible to fairly require either party to continue the employment relationship, even until the expiry of the notice period. These include, for example, violence in the workplace or non-payment of wages.
