Security deposit – it is a financial means to secure the rent and payments for services provided in connection with the use of the apartment and, if applicable, to pay other obligations in connection with the lease. The landlord is entitled to use these funds to pay the rent receivable and to pay for services provided in connection with the use of the apartment. Upon termination of the lease, the landlord is obliged to return the deposited funds to the tenant.
