The landlord cannot simply ban you from visitors, normal use of the apartment, keeping an animal or letting people into the home. It cannot force you to do unreasonable things in the contract and it cannot discriminate against prospective tenants. On the other hand, the tenant must use the apartment properly, not harass neighbours, pay for damages and, for certain changes, inform the landlord or get his or her consent.
