The Czech Office of Surveying and Cadastre is proposing major changes in access to data from the Cadastre. Personal data would now be available only after verification of the applicant's identity and with a reason. Administrative fees would also increase significantly - some up to 20 times the current amount.

An amendment to the Criminal Code signed by the President will end the prosecution of so-called maintenance neglect.
